The York County GIS Coordination Committee acts as the steering committee to direct GIS activities within the County

Welcome to the York County Geographic Information

Systems (GIS) web page. GIS technology has been used in some

York County departments since the early 1990’s. Today, GIS is

used in a variety of County departments and agencies including:

Assessment, 911, Emergency Management, Conservation

District, Agricultural Preservation, Human Services, Planning

Commission, and Economic Development Corporation.

The York County GIS Coordination Committee acts as the

steering committee to direct GIS activities within the County.

This committee is made up of representatives from the

Departments and Agencies that utilize GIS within the County.
